As the world faces escalating climate crises, the urgency for transformative solutions has never been greater. The COP30 negotiations in Belém present a pivotal moment to advance global climate action.

In this context, the circular economy emerges as a powerful tool—not only to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but also to enhance economic resilience and competitiveness. By rethinking production and consumption systems, circular strategies offer scalable pathways to decarbonization while fostering sustainable growth.

The Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, Business Finland, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and Brazil’s National Industry Confederation are proud to host a circular economy breakfast event in Belem during COP30. The event will gather business leaders, policymakers, and experts to exchange insights on circular economy solutions.
